My daughter wants a bicycle. She actually has one here but for whatever reason we can’t determine, the wheels are always flat. I certainly hope that before summer comes, we would have the wheels replaced and hopefully the bicycle will finally work. It might even be a good idea to get her a Bell RS1 helmet too since this is quite a big bike already. I can also personally use that bike since it can fit me too.
Fingers crossed! I hope that bicycle wheels are not too expensive!
Can you believe it that 11 days have passed by this 2012? What have you done so far? I have been very busy decluttering the house. I started sorting through the CD collections, the clothes, the shoes and the cabinets. I have given away a lot of kitchen stuff and sold old stuff to the recycling center. Yet there are still some more stuff I want give away, I hope that in the next few weeks, I will be able to share them all with others and our home will be less cluttered!
Making our home beautiful is one of my goals this year and I thank the Lord that even with only 11 days passing by, we already have done quite a lot of improvement.
I have been looking at cheap fares over the Internet for the past few months. I was hoping that the family could travel somewhere this Christmas break. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy any tickets. I was on the lookout for tickets to Singapore, Taiwan or Hong Kong. But in the end, the total fare was too much for us. I guess the north face jackets would have to wait to be used!
I have always wanted a parol since I was a child. Something about its simplicity and symbol must have really caught my attention. It has been my dream to own one, but since I had my own family 10 years ago, I never got to fulfill this dream. It was either I forgot about it or didn’t know where I could buy one.
This year, one kind soul I met through the Internet, Mommy Mai bought us not one but 5 cute parols and my kids really loved it too! I am grateful to her kindness and thoughtfulness. She has fulfilled one of my lifelong wishes and proved to me that there are still kind people out there, who genuinely gives without expecting anything in return.

I love personalized stuff! It can be a personalized glass or mug, or even a keychain or bookmark with my name on it. I have seen some really nice personalized stickers and personalized pins when I was going around some book shops and they look really great. In fact, they are on top of my gifts list for next Christmas!
I believe that personalized stuff show more thoughtfulness in the gift giving. It is not just some random gift from a store but something that was really thought of and hunted down for.
