Do you have cable subscription at home? What channels do you usually watch? It has been 7 years now since we moved to Sta Rosa Laguna and since living here, we never had cable subscription. We only use antenna for our television signal and so far, it has worked for us. We generally are not a TV watching family, we watch mainly news and sports on the television. Aside from that, we watch movies on DVD or on the computer.
I think this is really a good idea, both financially and in training your kids not to spend too much time in front of the television. It is a good way to limit TV watching and create more time for interaction between family members.
